Dumb Question??

I don't know a lot about the Yami 4 stroke motors, but I know that they have a converter that allows the motor to run @ 10,300 RPM but the clutch is at 8200 or so RPM...what is that part called?? I know it is a converter of some sort, but need to know the official part name.

I believe they call it a gear reduction.
