DS-4 vs. DS-2 skis for Summit

Some have not liked the DS-4 skis. Rather than use the DS-3s, I ordered the DS-2s. They were cheaper than the DS-3s, and a decent ski when I used them in the past.

The DS-2s weigh a half pound less than the DS-4s when I weighed them today.

Attached are some pics that show the differences between the DS-2s and DS-4s.

I have a better performing solution that’s cheeper than ds-2’s or 3’s. They are called ds-4’s they come free with the expert.

i've seen multiple complaints about DS4 skid which will now also come on the '24 freeride. what don't people like about them?

On setup snow, they dart and are unpredictable.

I found them more predictable for sidehilling and crossing old tracks but would dig in and stand straight up when trying to back out of a spot I got myself in [emoji1787]
