I read on here where some guy chipped his apex so he had like 170 or 180 hp can you do this and if so how much does it cost?

been down this road. there is a company that sells them on ebay. don;t waste time on power chips just a good way to f*** ur sled up and be out a few grand. the only way to get that kind of power besides turbo is nitrous or fundy performance in nova scotia, canada. they do engine work like porting to get anywhere from 190-220hp out of a naturally aspirated yammi 4 banger.

"chips" or controll box's are worthless unless your modded in another way (turbo,supercharged or nitrous). roughrider, what else does fundy proformance do? just porting wouldnt get 190+?
i don't know i tried callin but phone was disconnected. it says on a website that they offer porting for the apex and rx1 and also their engine kits get up to 220 hp

thats crazy! they must bigbore, port n' polish, cams and raiz the compression to get even close to that!
i'm pretty sure its not a big bore.

that would be cool if they could bore it out a few hundered CC's. i seen and ad for a apex big bore. it was like +50 cc's. that made me laugh
