I will get some pics and maybe a video up next weekend when I'm out. I got the shocks through Kevin from kmod and he got his powder coaster to do them

Assault, im glad to hear you have had yours out, mine is in the case porting stage now!! I rode the 900 last yr. sevral times and knew I had to have one in the 13. Did you have Carl's install yours or did you do the work. I have them take care of all the work from tear down to tune.

I have rode carls BB in my sleds for several yrs now, there is no toe rope!! one of the best Gas and go motors out there.

Jacks new 900 will eat his old 910, IMO. but then agian the stroke is way shorter in the 900. So your not really comparing the same motor. I think the 910 may of had a taller top end, of course with the longer strock it did not have the low end. The new 900 cylinder walls are thicker than the 910. to help with the heat..

The 900 small block and the 910 Big Block engines have the same stroke, which is 70mm unless Carls has changed the crank on the CFI 900. There is a difference in the Rod length, the old 910 had 136mm rods, new 900 CFI engines have 132mm rods found on the 800 CFI.

the 910 was based of the older motor, was it not? the new crank on the pro's are different than the VES motors I thought..

shorter crank,, bigger rod pins in the CFI, Not a shorter stroke.
Thanks for having such good info!!!

I will give a full ride report after our ride on Saturday. We'll be out for 4 days so I'll be able to get her broken in pretty good this trip. I'm running about 2 gallons of c12 per tank in it now but I think
I'm going to lean that back to around 1

Around 6000$ for a complete set up. That's with intake pipe power commander clutching etc. I went with them because they've ran it the most. And their reputation. Jacks been building top notch motors forever.

$6000 must be for the kit only? I was at Carl's yesterday and they quoted about $8000 installed.

I am pretty sure it's $4600 for the engine work and parts, then about $2000 for the bolt ons like the pipe and power commander etc. and I think the OP got a new case and crank so his total was $8000. He also ended up with a complete engine to sell to offset some of the costs. Say 6k net. Simple, more power, better reliability, great rideability, reasonable maintenance and rebuild, pretty sweet setup.

900 BB

The $4600 is for the kit. The extra couple G's is for the PCV, Pipe, Can And all the other stuff to make the kit complete.
