Can I run my Phazer without a battery?

Ive got a 93 Phazer II w/ electric start. I am missing the battery for it and I dont have the $ for a new one right now. My question is can I run it without a battery? Or will it hurt the charging system? Thanks

No problem to run your sled without a battery, just be sure to isolate the positive battery lead. Electric start and non-electric sleds use the same stator, therefore the same charging system.

yes, ran one for three years without the battery,
I installed my old Nytro battery and it works great
my 9yr old daughter just turns key and goes
