Just thought I would post up a comprehensive review of the C3 belt drive on a 2012 proclimb. After 3 blown belts and 4 revisions it seems to be all sorted out. currently have 1300 kms on current belt with zero issues.
The things you notice immediatly
1. very smooth, no clunking on engagement and no clunking on down with breaking.
2. immediate bottom end responsiveness, you can tell the drive system gets moving quicker and easier.
3.very quiet
the things that you gain overall
1. very easy to change gearing (10 minutes) for riding conditions.
2. 8lbs weight savings
3. stonger link from jack shaft to drive shaft
4. very clean and easy to use.
$1250 for this system, I would say it is worth every penny. I will not build a sled without it again. plus looks very cool.
