C3 Synchro Belt drive on Proclimb

Just thought I would post up a comprehensive review of the C3 belt drive on a 2012 proclimb. After 3 blown belts and 4 revisions it seems to be all sorted out. currently have 1300 kms on current belt with zero issues.

The things you notice immediatly
1. very smooth, no clunking on engagement and no clunking on down with breaking.
2. immediate bottom end responsiveness, you can tell the drive system gets moving quicker and easier.
3.very quiet

the things that you gain overall

1. very easy to change gearing (10 minutes) for riding conditions.
2. 8lbs weight savings
3. stonger link from jack shaft to drive shaft
4. very clean and easy to use.

$1250 for this system, I would say it is worth every penny. I will not build a sled without it again. plus looks very cool.

Yes, oil injection can left as is for the 8 lb. weight loss or you can do the oil injection delete and have a 15 lb. weight loss. Check out the thread on the Monster Chute climb with the stock engine, some details are in there.

Ya some pics would be great. What gearing you running? everything else on the sled stock?

I'm gonna have to get one ordered my chain case blew to peaces this weekend with only 1200 miles on it. Like I mean bad the whole bottom has like inch gap in it not sure what happened to it yet but it sounded expensive when it went haha

Shouldn't that be warranty?

I wish they had something for the 1100

But with manual reverse,,,,,,,,,,,, it wont happen.....

I'd ditch that chaincase in a second if someone could figure out how to make the reverse work......

On that sled you need reverse trust me..........

I hope so but I have a turbo on it but the chain didnt break so I know it's not from the extra power. I think the chain tensioner came off or broke

Anybody running a turbo on these sled want to install the Team upper gear. I have seen three Proclimb turbos that lunched the top gear relatively quick. Stock gear cannot take the xtra horsey's

BRILLIANT

I've been waiting for a belt drive system to come out, the benifits are obvious. One question though, does it have a tensioner or is it direct drive like the 13 pro? Gear changes would have less involved, and the benifit of a dampening effect would help IMO. Something to consider for next year, just another 12 hungie, ouch.

So will this take care of the belt chatter???? I have chatter but no belt problems in 800 miles as far as blown belts...

Thanks
