Since it’s the end of the season and people putting sleds away, thought I’d throw out a little reminder for summer maintenance. Just picked up this 23’ 9R with just over 200 miles. Asked the guy I bought it from about his clutching and alignment. He said a local guy who was a “certified polaris” mechanic for years set it all up. Pics show what I got with the TRS alignment bar. Only .150” off.

that looks like our Lighten and balanced secondary...we remove material to lighten at the measurement area...does the secondary float, meaning move in and out?

According to the previous owner only thing that has been touched is the clutch weights on that sled. All the factory secondary clutches I have (6 of them) , all measure the same sheave thickness as this one, so I doubt anyone has machined it. The secondary clutch did have about .020” float.
