Hello Dave,
I run the Baofeng UV-82HP from time to time and I would like to use them on VOX mode while snowmobiling and Dirt biking.
I currently use helmet to helmet VOX system by Lexin-B4FM and their true clear connection distance sucks. So, ergo, I would like to use my Baofengs.
My question is: does Baofeng make a helmet mic and speakers that are similar to the Lexin-B4FM system, unobtrusive and out of the way?
The earpieces that came with my UV-82HP are too big, are of an incorrect design for helmets and also hurt my ears.
If the Baofengs had a wireless system for my existing model that would be another bonus point!

Check out oxbow radios with bluetooth. They can link to your lexin b4fm (I have same headset in my moto helmets). We had zero luck using the helmet headsets on sleds though. The mics ice up and fail fast so just use to oxbows on sleds and save the helmet com systems for motos. They also have a bluetooth ptt button you can put on the bars thats pretty slick. (again we just use em for motos)
