Ash River area- north of Orr

Has anyone been up in the Orr/Ash River area? NOAA is showing 22 inches in the area but would like to hear from someone who has been up there recently. I have to think there is more than that in the trees and logging roads. Just looking to plan a quick 3 day trip and do some off trail riding in the woods.
