Actual Rear suspension weights

Lets all be factual in this. Lets compare rear suspension weights so we can really see what they weigh. I was very surprised at the weight difference between my IQR skid and my ez-ryde


151" ez-ryde skid compleate-46 pounds, 4 wheels and fox coil over shocks with resivors.
121" polaris race skid-66 pounds.



I will see what the dragon skid is at tomorrow when i pull it out.

from what i can tell so far

04 edge 159 M/M 8'' two wheel kit all bogies removed = 60 lbs

06 (chromoly arm) 159 EZ-ride = 50lbs

My 05 M7Limited 162 suspension weighed 50lbs on the dot(no scratchers)

My 162 EZ ryde with a two wheel kit is 46lbs with scratchers.

Both were weighed on a toledo platform scale.

My buddy's D8 162 timbersled with carbon fiber rails and carbon fiber two wheel kit is 40lbs(on his scale, I didn't see it weighed)

08 M1000 skid with bdx two wheel kit and bdx anti stab kit and everything else stripped (6 wheels and bump stops) came in at 46lbs. Thats for a 162

My skid has extra bogies, an extra brace, and a 4 wheel kit in the back. My skid is a race version

The one I took off my Apex mtX 162 gave me a hernia and I had to use a floor jack to lift it up

My 09 155 polaris is 48lbs on the shop scail. no bogies and stock 2 wheel rear fox shocks and tit arctic cat spring on front

M-10 with CR 151" rails extended by me to 159", 3 x 8" rear alu idlers, 2 bogies and both shafts in it. Stock shocks for now.

Ready for this? 28kg/61,6lbs!!!

Edit: Have FTX Ti springs waiting to go on, should knock 8lbs off.

Holz Alpha-X for the 155 Polaris RMK IQ RAW

This one weighed 42.8 with the evol x rear, red WPS hyfax, and I make my own limiter strap system.

It is nothing but AWESOME!
