Has anyone installed a 8 tooth driver and regeared ??

I'm not impressed with the over tight track to keep the drive from racheting !!

Have all the parts but now I am finding out there is no gearing chart yet !!

Obviously the best would be one off the top and add to bottom but the diameters change drastically and I have found in the past some are better than others .. ( straighter transition)

Ratio I'm Wondering about is 22/39 with stock 72 or 22/40 with 74 (looks like logical choice )

Low elevation 155X2". and 100+ MPH trail speeds .. my normal ratio is 22/39

Thinking about going up to a 19/41 when I put the 2.6 on with 7 tooth driver (anyone know the ratio of that 2.44:1??)

KTR.

Ratios... and the "feel" they produce can be a bit to wrap your head around...but not difficult.

You should be ok, clearance wise with the 2.6"-lug and 8-tooth/2.86"-pitch on there... since they put a 3"-lug on the same sled with a 7 tooth 3"-pitch.

I see that you have 22/39 gearing... but what pitch is your current track??

I'm not too sure about repeated 100 mph use on a 2.6"-lug track though.

Since you are in the AXYS section... and talking about a 155" track... and gearing...but have a 2"-lug track... I'm having a hard time figuring out what sled you have and what drivers are on there... Aren't all 2"-lug tracks 2.52"-pitch ??

I use the 2.6 155 2.86 track with 7 tooth 19/41 gearing for deep snow !

My second setup is

155X2.225 2.86 Comp Track
2.86 8tooth stock drivers
Was hoping to use 22/39 gearing with stock 72 pitch chain

Easiest choice would be 22/40 with a 74 pitch chain but from past experience the chain has a huge curve on the slack side. This is fine but I can guarantee I will push the Bolt through the adjuster with that setup from huge bumps and heavy braking with the big track helping out !!

I wouldn't run a Paddle track at 75 + MPH without knowing damage is occurring .. things are different here we can walk to get help in most places , or call!! I've ran the comp tracks at WAY more than 100mph and never had any issues (YET) :lalala:

I have two cut down to 1.5 with 1.875 Ice Chisels and 5 degree angled backers for hill drags also and have hit them two with a 1500 WC and Wet nitrous oxide with a supposed 200 horse setup ..they are pretty tough rubber bands !!

22/39 .. 1.77:1 with stock chain (72 pitch) very straight , no adjuster needed even

22/40 .. 1.82:1 with stock 74 chain with much slack
23/40.. 1.74:1 with stock 74 pitch chain is a nice setup also not as straight as 23/39

I didn't try but a 23/39 1.63:1 with 74 would be a good choice with less track but I've had belt heat problems in the past with 144X2" so I think I found the wall !!
