Has anyone been looking into the 2022 holdovers? I'm wondering what a really good price is to pay for those. I've been looking and have been quoted $14,100 OTD for 2022 Pro RMK Matryx 155 2.75.
$13,500 OTD for 2022 RMK Khaos Axys 155 2.75. What kind of deals are you all seeing?

Dealers can't give away the non slash 2022 sleds.

Whatever you do don't get an Axys. The Matryx is undeniably superior and for sure worth $600.

Plenty of '22 and '23 models out there. It appears rebates have not changed for April.
I guess Polaris wants to address this in the fall. Time will tell if it will pay to wait.

In December, I bought a 22 155 850 Khaos started about $14k with dealer add to the deal the rear tunnel trimmed, Z-bros front skid, rear bumper (which they were already in the process of modifying to use it as their Demo sled.) Electric Start, PID. total was something like $16,200. Put on 200 miles and looked at trading in when my Boost 165 finally came in after snow check last month. Dealer offered $11,500 on trade. I passed. In part because of the $5 hit for just a few rides, but also because I was liking the 155 on the Khaos along with having the shorter tunnel but having longer heat exchanger than comes on the slash. I'll just add a Boondocker Turbo to it in the fall and call it good.

How does boondocker kit compare to OEM boost model. I ran boondocker before, pump gas. Polaris boost seems to build more power and a better bottom than my boondocker, but that was 5 years ago.

My understanding from the mechanics at my dealership is the Boondocker will produce more boost than stock. The Polaris and Silber turbo feed enough boost to compensate for horsepower lost at elevation/temp to maintain maximum horsepower that 850 produces at sea level when naturally aspirated. IE: 180hp at sea level and 180 hp at 10,000ft+. Boondocker is adjustable to adjust the boost and fuel mix with their controller to increase the HP beyond. For example my Razor XP Pro Ultimate dyno was 182hp stock. With my BD tune and clutching is all I did with the power train on pump ups to 211. Adjust my tune and throw Aftermarket can (RPM E-Valve) and AV gas it and it cranks 231hp.

The turbo on the Razor was not designed just to maintain hp but to produce much more power.

Your razor is also a 4t, and av gas can play hell on o2 sensors. Lead will foul them. AV gas is awesome for staying good for a long time, but there's a lot of high octane fuels that are better.

Silber does the tune in the factory ecu. Less to fail as you're not running a piggyback system.

I'm still waiting for the stand alone ecus to come out with full timing and fuel control. Why have I been able to buy one for my truck for 20 years and nothing is available for power sports?

If we want big reliable horsepower it starts with the tune. Computers that can keep up and catch fuel corrections quickly, timing corrections, etc.

It wasn't long ago that guys considered 10:1 to be the limits of pump gas, and now they're stuffing boost on top or running 12:1 without issue as the computers get better and faster reacting to lean mixtures or detonation.
