Yes, a ThermoBob is enough, but shrouds are even better if you have a gauge and monitor tempature.


Less, over at J&L Snow Bikes (605) 225-6900 makes the best skid plate / motor shield system I have used. It works very well. I put one on a WR last year, and did a lot of testing with it.

I know I have not posted much in this thread lately. The reason being, is that at the Denver snow show I was approached by Aerocharger and they wanted to prototype a turbo on the Yamaha. I just got it back today. I will continue to post reviews and update pictures as the tuning goes on.

Looking forward to seeing how it works out! What fuel box do they use? No room to mount it out the back of bike under rear fender?

Awesome bike! It will be interesting to see how that intake works it won't just be getting hit by snow it will be buried in snow a lot of the time.
