what the difference between the two? new to doo and am sno checking a new summit, price is surprisingly close between the two, I think only three or four hindred difference, dealer said different handle bars, shocks and gauge, the brochure though shows a picture of floats on the x and doesn't mention a different gauge, what are your thoughts.

14 was different shocks (X rebuildable/revalveable), 3 different color options, 4yr warranty or 1 option (such as electric start) and 3yr warranty, different bars, and guages not actually different but maybe the things displayed are different. SP I think is only 2yr warranty. So if warranty, shocks and color don't matter SP same sled.

my 14 sp came with a 3 year. I wouldn't plunk down the extra for the x. save it for clutch kit, hps can, better shocks....not much different to me.

if you snow check a 15 by april 22. you get a 4 year warranty...

difference is actually 225 bucks, would rather not upgrade shocks but I am used to first gen fox floats and zero pro s so will sp shocks be a huge let down? and four year warranty on both up here

For the $225 I'd buy the X. Only reason is you can send those shocks out to be revalved whereas the SP you can't. Would save you a few bucks on new shocks if you choose to go that route.

I went through the same thing last year and the price difference between the X and SP was far greater. I ended up buying a SP and did my own shock package that I can pull off and resell when I'm done with the machine. Next owner gets brand new shocks.

New 156 T3

I got hooked up with a great dealership and went with the 163 T3. But they are putting together a 156T3 that will be right around the same price as a 2015 SP same sled and price but it will have the T3 custom upgrade with a can and clutch kit already on it. herd it is going to be somewhere around $11,500 - $12,000 I might get one for the lady friend.

Does the handlebars catch anyones attention? I personally don't give a s**t about the shocks the X has and the fox they offer are still junk unless u go Evos but I can't stand riding a SP after having the X handlebars since 2012. It dives me nuts but then again its all how you ride and feel on the machine
