I asked him the same question last week on another forum and he said that yes at higher elevation it would be in the 7-8 PSI range. This sounds like the kit to buy out of the low boost kits. Cheaper than MC-X or Alpine's new kit and it's a midmount with the cast header. Sounds like a winner to me!!!!

Low elevation: 5 lbs of boost

High Elevation: 8 lbs of boost

The clutch kit for high elevation will include a shockwave helix and rivets for the OEM weights.

Someone asked me to list the upgrades in this post if you wanted more horsepower.

These upgrades apply to 6,000+ feet riding if you want to go to more boost.

To go to 12 lbs of boost you'd need a GT2854R turbo ($1,000) and I'd recommend the Ignition Module ($330).

To go over 12 lbs of boost you would need our modified 2860RS turbo ($1200), fuel pump & regulator upgrade ($400), and injectors ($330).

Allen,
How much of an upgrade is it to just go with the 12 lbs. from the start? $330 for the ignition module and how much more would the 2854 over the 2554 up front?

You would be looking at a $550 upgrade to go with the 2854 and ignition module to start with. If you were going to run the 2854 at lower elevation you would need to run it below 6 lbs of boost otherwise you would need the fuel pump & regulator upgrade as well.
