clean that carb..take the bowl off the bottom and get yourself some fine needles or an oxy/actylene torch tip cleaning set and stat reaming out the main/pilot orifices etc..you can also remove them...make sure you choke is set right..start your air screw at about 1.5 turns out...freah gas/filter..look at your belt for wear and clean the clutches...and really look at the rubber boot between the carb and engine for cracks /fatigue etc...thats a start for ya...
