Anyone else flying over the bars?
I know I need knee protection.
I flew over the bars quite a few times last year and hit my knees at least twice.
I'm looking for some lightweight knee protection. bump cap style. I'm not really looking for the knee brace kind. just something for handlebar protection. I still have a dent in my left knee cap from contacting the hand guards.
It seems like they are either super heavy duty or chintzy. Something lightweight but still having coverage would be good.

look at knee pads for mt biking, there usually not bulky and they stay in place fairly well. comes down to how much do you want to spend. check out chainreactioncycles.com

I really like my Leatt Dual axis knee guards. They go for $90.

I have them also and love them. Great protection and comfortable.
