Well we are thinking of heading up, what is the snow on the trail like, it looks low on snotel but hard to say. 8 @copper bottom and 45 @ copper top, but that could all be wind blown

I guess 45 looks like the most in the state right now

just got back from the bowls. It is rideable. you can drive to snowbank easy. the trail is pretty icy but there is plenty of snow. Once you get to the end of the road, theres probably 2ft total. lots of rocks and stumps showing on the way up. Lots of rocks in the bowls still. your best bet would be to play around in the trees, we did it for a while and it seemed pretty safe. hope this helps. let it snow!

Also just rode the bowls a few days ago. Rideable but that's about all. Make sure you don't park at the lower lot, drive to the campground and pull off. As previously stated the trail is ICY! Snow is the bowls looks to be forming a decent base, lots of water content in the snow so it kinda felt like a spring ride in December, except it was 2 degrees out. I climbed to the top of the bowls in the far north side and they were not bad. Watch the wind loaded hills in there as there was some slides. have fun!

Dont waste your gas money. You have to park at snowbank, trail is icey from there up. and if you do find a line to climb at the bowls half way up you hit an ice patch and it gets western from there. There is still ice showing at the lake bowl
