Default Whats a good gearing/ clutch set up IQR 600 144"

I am running the stock set up in my 09' 600 IQR 144" with Ice Age rails 2.25" track. I ride at low elevation on the East Coast. I rode it last year and it feels ok on the trail and flat powder but going up hill it trenches and blows the snow out from under it. I dont know if I should gear it up or change the clutch set up. Any recommendations??? Thanks guys
