Hi guys, looking for information on this track. Who is using it and how have they been holding up? I have seen a few posts regarding lugs delaminating and want too see how they are doing when big power is applied.

Thanks!

Had 174x2.5 on the apex 3500 miles no problems, friends had the same or more on 3" with no issues.
Where we ride the 174 is excellent,Dec,Jan,Feb, after that a 162 robs less power and is easier to handle on set up or hard pack. I have ridden Nytros' with 174s' that tend to push in spring conditions, on hard pack turns.
I'll be testing the ascent this season,on my tnytro. Will let you know how it works. The 174s' have their applications and I can't remember a failure.

Are you guys running 16" wide or are you cutting them down to 15"? Thinking about putting a 3" on my 162 nytro. I was wondering really, how much difference in side hilling there would be, between the two? I did put the new skinz front end kit on.

I am wanting to run the 3" too but have a clearance issue with the m10 inside bracing and would have to cut it down in width abit. I cut the skidoo 162 track down a few years back with a table saw and it was a SOB. Track usa said there was no demand for the 15 wide and that they would likely never see one.

I have heard you can fit a16 wide into a nytro just by adding some drop brackets and a few minor other mods has anyone done this or is it possible

What size drivers are you guys running with the 3 inch?

7 tooth, have to move or modify the cooler too....

there seems to be paddles coming off Ski Doo,s . There was a suggestion that the 7 tooth drivers ere causing it.Has anyone else had this problem? ,How many miles on her?

I think thats a load of BS, Camoplast just had a bad run of tracks, 2.5's were flying apart too. I had 5000 kms on my 2.5 and it never had scratchers for 3/4's of that...

I have 1000 kms on my 3" and its still perfect.

I had a 174 2.5 split in half 2 years ago. I was on a groomed trail in IP and it blew off! Luckily I was on a long straight stretch and came to a safe stop. I called Camo, and NOTHING was done!! I now have a 162 2.5 and it looks to be in perfect condition after 2 seasons.

Both sleds, 7 tooth.

I would love a 3" track...

i dont take it easy on the trail because of my track . the first 2 tracks spit lugs in the first 200 km . i also had a 2.5 inch that lasted 6000 km on my sled and has done another 2000 on my buddy's sled . with both tracks ive run 7 tooth avids .
I do drive with my scratchers down all the time though with my 3 inch track .
