I have a 2002 summit 800 highmark x 151. I need a new track so I want to go longer. What would be better 159 or 162 any tip or suggestions would be great. If this helps I live in Revelstoke BC so lots of deep snow days.

Are you using rail extensions or longer rails. What size are your rear wheels. What are you running for a track.

I have a 01 summit 800 x I'm going to be parting out, with a 163" 2.25 off a 2010 summit. With Fabcraft rear skid, and fox shocks. Fabcraft front end also with fox shocks in front, with aluiminum tie rods. Purty much a mod sled. Located in 100 Mile House. Have lots of other goodies if your looking.

FYI The skid from the 163 from a 01 will be to long in a 02.
This is what I have found
01-144 becomes 151 in a 02-03
01-151 becomes 159 in a 02-03

Yep, that's right. In 02 they set the rear skid back 3''.
Put the 162 x 16 on my '02 with Ice Age (?) rails and it goes anywhere now! Stays on top a lot better than the 151 Challanger, and a LOT better than the 151 Doo track!
Made new tunnel to fit it too.
Used a little less taper for the extra length.

|I have decided to go with the 162 i have purchased at set of 162 rails. Now I am wonder what 162 track i should put or what can i fit.

I am not sure if you can get a 2.5" in there, but I have a 162x16x2.5 CE for sale if you're interested. It's 3.0 pitch, you would need to go to 7 tooth drivers. Again not sure if it fits, if interested you might ask around on the forum.
