do any of you guys plug the exhaust valve ports anymore? ive read some older posts about it, nothing newer. i plugged the valves on the d7 and seemed to help. any insight? would be 14 pro. actually my main reason is to get rid of the messy oil line, running improvement would just be extra.

It can be done, but you will probably have to tune the valves with different springs, and as mentioned some have fought with det.
If all your after is saving the oily mess... re-route and extend the ves hose to poke through the right fender by the muffler outlet.

Plugging the VES worked on my 11 and 12 PRO's but I ran into DET when I tried it on my 13 PRO and had to remove the plugs. As stated above, I think the pink spring might solve the DET with the plug. I have not tried that yet.

……..
Drill a 1/2" hole in the plastic right in front of the swaybar mount left side.
Poke the hose out.
Two little holes in the nosecone to ziptye the hose away from the pipe.
