Bullhead Moto - Beware Snowest !

It took me a long time to post this but here goes:

I bought a bunch of things from Tony Smieja at Bullhead Moto last December. I ordered the following:

2 Ski Mounts
2 clutches
2 sets ski rods
2 custom billet shocks

All to the tune of 900 bucks or so. I have yet to get it all. He still owes me for the shocks and a clutch. He originally sold me a story that his son was very ill and was dealing with it as such. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently. He told me the shocks would be delivered within 10 days with delivery from Taiwan. Yeah right. Nothing ever came.

After a while I still had zero. I called, emailed, and phoned him repeatedly with very little response. I have a couple of friends who also are awaiting a full Mod Scoot with a huge deposit that was given to him way before X-mas with a promise for Xmas delivery. Another friend also has a deposit for one of his Mod Scoots. I am very worried about their investments. He has been lying from the beginning.

I finally got a call from him in February and told him i had nothing. He assured me it was sent which is complete BS. He was unable to provide a tracking number. I then retried communication with him in early March. Still with nothing. After getting mad i told him it was poor business practice and to man up.

He finally called and said that he's really sorry and will send it out again. I then receive a partial order - one clutch and both sets of shocks are nowhere to be seen. He texts me and says his shock vendor will not return his calls (i wonder why ??) and that it will cost him more money to go through another vendor which he informs me he will look after. He said i would have a ETA from him within 24 hours which was 3 days ago. I can no longer get a hold of him and he will not return the 20 text messages i have sent, or the angry phone messages.

I decide to start looking around at Bullhead Moto and i see a post from a guy who got screwed on Craigslist by Tony from Bullhead Moto and wants people to beware. Now i know i am going to get screwed.

I want everyone to really think hard before handing over money to this clown ! He is ripping people off and taking people's money with no conscience whatsoever. He may build a nice product but it does not get to the people that buy it. BEWARE !

Well, at least you didn't jump the gun to flame this loser. Keep it updated with any, if any progress. Good luck.

I waited 3 months because he seemed like a nice enough guy with a nice product with some family issues which we all can understand. I warned him over the last week if there was no action i would start posting on various forums which i have now done. All you have to do is Google BullheadMoto and you will see most things. Google has yet to latch on to all of it. I gave him every opportunity to call, write, text, email with no response.

I am very worried about a friends multi thousand dollar deposit for a Scoot that was supposed to be delivered around X-mas.

Tony, its time to get it together.

Too bad this sort of thing happens......I hope you get your money back at the very least. At least you gave him a ton of time to respond.

Too bad I really liked the look of that modded Sno Scoot for my kids.

Yup it does....Tony you out there?? I trusted you and have nothing to show for it.....

Amazing how he has no voice
message anymore. I have tracked down his name, wifes name an have his address. All it would take is to go down and collect my money. This guy takes the cake. He was trying to get money out of another friend of mine, always calling him to get money for a couple of mod scoots. I'm sure glad he never let the money go to him. I have put a phone call into the police as well and they will tell me how I can go after him.

I've been testing clutch setup's for him over this winter and last and have not had any issue's what so ever getting a hold of him. Every time I've needed anything it's been at my door within a few day's even part's that had to be fabbed up ! Sorry you've had suck bad luck with him.

have you had contact with him in the last week? If you to talk to him can you please have him call me.

Well,
I had an unplesant experience with Tony as well....but it looks like I'm only out $300. I sent both clutches from my Sno Sport to him in September with the promise of a new front variator and a complete rebuild on the rear clutch. He sat on them till January, despite numerous emails enquiring as to the status. Finally he responded back and implied he was ready to ship them. I promptly Paypal'd him $300 and waited.....Finally, 2 weeks ago, after many emails and phone messages, he said they were on their way. I finally just got them today to find that he did nothing to them but include 6 new roller weights in the box...probably a $30 value. I guess I should count myself lucky that I even got them back. I feel sorry for the guys that shelled out big $$ for deposits.

Yup, we got ourselves a real winner here. What a lying sack of chit ! He better never show his face at any event, because i will be there to get my stuff from him. What a douche !

I have a question that will hopefully help people from getting burnt in the future.
What was it about these guys that made you want to deal with them in the first place? Were you recommended? Did you here good things about them?

The reason I ask is that I am in the sales industry and see similar situations to this happen everyday.

Neil he is the only guy I know of that makes a custom skoot....and if you have rode a snowskoot you know why we would want the mod version....a blast and a ton of family memories....TONY you out there?

I still see posts on here for people wanting to send bruce at PSI money!!!

theres many, MANY people that probably would actually kill him if they seen him in public!

screw me once, your fault... screw me twice, my fault! Theres a sucker born everyday I guess? I dont know why people dont do searches anymore under usernames of those who they are gunna send parts/money to. Its threads like this people need to find before they shell out money to people. For those that did get taken for money, it sucks! I work hard for my money and I dont need people stealing it from me!!!!

Its hard not knowing when a new name pops up and theres no background or history of dealings in the past to look upon though.

Did somebody say "Bruce" ???

I've seen him.
