300 miles on my 9r so far not and no clutch or bolt issues

I’m debating switching to a 9R for next yr. Haven’t decided if I want to get a 850 and build a 900 or just buy a 9R and replace clutches. What was your rough cost for the 900bb kit, pipe, clutching and tune?

You know I didn't keep track exactly but I didn't make out too bad in the end. I was able to sell the entire top end as it was brand new, with 0 miles. Plus the dealership I work with, was great on the price of the 850 to begin with.

It works too!!! Definitely runs cooler but I'll have to see if there is any difference now with the 165 / 3"???

I've seen the difference between an axys Carl's 900 and a 23 9R.

Not apples to apples though.

Well, I got some miles on the 165" / 300LX with the new Fox Shocks and...............................Dang!!! It's working great!!

The snow was a little setup, so not crazy powder but the track is definitely working. The Fox QS3 shocks are working awesome too, maybe just a little more tweaking but so far all, good!

Another report after a few more miles.

Track is working great, only downfall is with no porting it does cause more snow hold in the suspension. I'm still working on getting the shocks set but I'm close.

The other thing we really noticed on this last trip was the engine temps. With the larger cooler and warm weather, I was consistently about 25 degrees cooler then everyone else.

All in all, very happy with the set up.
