ok mini sled stock speed 7 mph

scoot stock sled iv been told 30 mph plus

mini for small kids( would not haul me)
scoot every one will ride ( has hauled me 250 Lbs)

mini sled cost 70 to 2800 new (lasts 1 to 2 years and yard only)
scoot 500 to 2500 used,( for 4 years old to maybe 12 year olds)

track conversion can be done for as low as

rails $20, 2 wheel kit $35, track Used $ 100 or less, driver $50
hand made adapters $25

on trail bored to death waiting for mini
slow ride waiting for scoot but 20 mph sure beats 7 mph

we have both and scoot wins hands down

Throw. A Briggs Animal Motor in the 120 and they do 30-35 mph. And will go anywhere. And they fit kids up until about 8-9 years old depending on how tall they are. I added 3" of foam to the 120 seat and welded an extension onto the steering post and it fits my Boy perfect now. He will be 7 in February and may even get next year out of it.
On the stock engine with a gearing change and removing the governer spring they will do 16-17 MPH.
And from the videos I have seen the Briggs engine has more torque than the Scoots as well.
Not knocking the Scoots at all, just saying for about $700-800 you can make the 120s last a few extra years, and they fit the kids better. Then move onto the Sno-Scoot!

scoot vs mini

start looking for a scoot.
not sure were your at ? maybe if lucky scoot for 300 to 700 with bad track.
conversion 250 sell 120 be even and no motor change.
i would not take mini in to 12 plus inches new snow.
scoot was pushing snow to top of bumper.
