You are in the minority if you benefited from Nafta. The 600k plus who lost their jobs here darn sure didn't benefit! Or the farmers south of the border.

Additionally, virtually overnight Trillions of dollars worth of machine tools in this country were sold as scrap Iron, as it was cheaper for the big corporations to pay people in third world countries a bowl of rice a day to file / grind parts than to have talented / skilled Americans machine the parts.

NAFTA only benefits the big corporations, it effectively hobbled the American working class.

For the PEOPLE of this country NAFTA should be repealed. IMO

I can totally understand why you have no desire to see him in the White House! I'm assuming your business would not be doing as well if he negotiated a new trade deal??? Just out of curiosity... you import parts from the u.s. To manufacture a product in Canada and then ship the finished product back to the states for sale? Or is your product being sold in Canada. Oh and just and FYI.. I thought nafta was chit long before trumps campaign started. I may live close to the b.c. Border but that doesn't mean I smoke their weed!!!
I'm just assuming there's a reason your calling Canada home when you have dual citizenship?

Actually if tariffs were imposed I'd just get the stuff from Asia for less and a few more jobs in the states would be lost. The business I have that does this is more of a side gig so it wouldn't have much of an effect on me in the big picture. We sell worldwide but I'm not quitting my day job anytime soon.

There's a million reasons I prefer living up here, but having the best mountains there are right in my back yard in an area with a very strong economy sealed the deal.

You honestly think that happened the day after nafta passed? Companies were outsourcing on a large scale long before nafta and would have continued to do so regardless. You gotta stop listening to talk radio and trump speeches.

So we should listen to the guy with Dual citizenship who lives in a socialist country, runs his business there but has assets here and says he'd import from Asia and put people out of work here if tariffs were imposed. That's why I always try and buy made in the USA!!! I suppose next you're gonna tell me you love Trudeau??? That post was mostly a joke so don't get too bent! I do find it funny though how you think so many folks opinions on here are based off listening to trump for a few months!!!

2 completely opposite opinions on a single subject.
Both cannot be correct!
Sad thing is, the person/people that are wrong, will never understand they're wrong.

No talk radio for this guy. Never watched a Trump speech either.

My information is first hand; My mentor as a machinist, once co-owned the largest tool and die company in the USA (pre-NAFTA). Less than a year after NAFTA was passed they were forced to close the doors and liquidate the tooling. A million Chinese laborers were cheaper and as such they were forced out of business. Along with most of the huge machine shops in the midwest; forced to sell off the tooling to scrap yards by the pound, it was loaded onto rail cars and taken to the ports on both Coasts, loaded on Ships to China. That is just my first hand "No BS" example of the Hobbling effect NAFTA has had on the America as I know / knew it.

You do realize that nafta is an agreement between the US, Canada and Mexico? It has nothing to do with China. If cheap Chinese labour put em under it wasn't due to nafta.

If an iPad was made at USA labour rates it'd be close to $20k. Good luck bringing millions of manufacturing jobs back at $20+/hr, not gonna happen, trade agreements or not.

I'm not asking you to listen to me, I know I'm in a unique situation that I worked very hard to develop. just to look beyond the ends of your noses and stop wishing the 1950s would return. the future is happening whether you like it or not. Isolationism and false promises of impossible 5-7% growth? Good luck with that. Donny is a charlatan and his ability to get people to buy into whatever he says is terrifying.

And you buy into hillarys bs??? My iPad took a chit a few months ago and I don't plan on buying a new one! You may have worked hard to develop the situation your in but since you don't know me and how hard ive worked at my business that's all smoke!!! Especially since my country is not where you call home! So... don't buy into what you claim is false promises??? I should vote for the same old lies!!!

I'm gonna repeat myself and others because this question was never acknowledged let alone answered.

It has been proven that Hillary has no problem lying to the people of the US, or the FBI or Congress.
She clearly has placed her financial gains ahead of her duties as Secretary of State.
She refuses to acknowledge past mistakes, lies or crimes.
She will assault our 2nd ammendment. Quote "The supreme court is wrong on the second ammendment"

How can any of you think it is acceptable to vote for her.

Honestly it is beyond belief what some people are willing to accept!

Please forgive my lapse in politeness while I ask how damned dumb are you people?

Give into your hate young sky walker...

Where have I even mentioned Hillary?? All along I've been saying that Donny is dangerous and full of sh*t and asking how anyone can blindly follow someone who has no respect for their intelligence? I've asked specific questions and all anyone does is bang their fist on the table and say "Hillary is bad and she gonna take our guns away". Which is complete BS. Even in Canada with what 'muricans would consider very restrictive gun laws you can still possess a freakin arsenal if you want, you just can't carry an Ar 15 into McDonald's. Kinda sensible... No chance the states will ever get to the level of restriction up here no matter who is in power.

If Donny could actually get the economy to 5-7% growth (he can't) you know what would happen after a very short time? A massive crash. Economics 101... Steady good, radical changes bad.

I agree it's good that the establishment is getting shaken up a bit, but Donny isn't the guy to take the reins

Pretty much what I expected .....another non-answer

Non answer? Can you not tell that I think Donny is a freakin lunatic that would be very dangerous to the whole world? Hillary is no saint, but I'd way rather see a continuation of the current path than see that guy unleashed, especially if he had a majority in congress too.

Disagree all you want, you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else, but I do challenge you to look at the reality of what Donny says he is gonna do with an unbiased viewpoint. It's just not reality, he is feeding you whatever he needs to to get his foot in the door.

And talk about non answers, I've put a lot of specific questions out there...

Mark my words, there will be widespread voter fraud before this is over.
It will favor Hillary.
It will be obvious enough that we will realize it happened.
And the saddest part, the FBI will not pursue it.

Please call me out if I turn out to be wrong and I will eat my crow.

Here ya go buddy! They all say it never happens. Already has, and many many many many cases caught last election.

Yes, no-answer.
We've pointed out a few of the many problems regarding Clinton's character, and none of you anti-Trump people even acknowledge them.

MO of the State of the Union

Here is my two sentence State of the Union opinion:

I would rather chance Anarchy than let Hilary into the White House and continue the current course Obama and others have put us on!

Hence I will be voting for Trump, if it leads to Anarchy, so be it!

You guys are hilarious. "Life is so bad that I'd rather have anarchy but I can afford to ride a $15,000 toy that I haul with a $50,000 truck all winter and I can even take time off work to do so. but it's soooooo terrible..." Sometimes I think that if Obama was white and Hillary a man and not named Clinton perspectives would be different.

I guess all we can do now is wait... Although Donny said today that they should just cancel the election and give it to him. Awesome.
