I understand that Artic Cat has been toying with the idea of building a 650cc 2 stroke purpose built snow bike.
This would NOT be a converted motorcycle......... It will be purpose built!
Now I'm not talking about the proposed Artic Cat SVX 450 4 stroke snow bike......... this will be a 650cc 2 stroke purpose built snow bike.

The single cylinder 650cc 2 stroke engine will be FI and will have an AFT exiting exhaust system leading into a nicely tucked away expansion chamber.
It will offer a lower center of gravity compared to that of a Timber Sled.
No conventional motorcycle clutch in lieu of a CVT system. That alone will be excellent!
Larger fuel capacity as well.
If they pull this off, it's going to knock the socks off of the Timber Sled market.
Anyone have any updates on this?

A new Arctic Cat snow bike patent application suggests the dream of building a production snow bike isn't over for the snowmobile manufacturer.
