Haha my dad always made sure i had bright colored clothes and helmet as a kid so he could find me. At 34 I still feel much safer wearing them. Now I want to keep track of him and all he'll wear is black gear :/

After my first time in the mountains I replaced all my black gear with closeout hmk bright blue, orange helmet, and orange float pack. I got bucked off my sled going off a drop off in flat light and the sled ghost rode into a tree. I had my group ride right around me for about 20 minutes and couldn't see me in my black gear. After that day I wanted to be seen in the mountains, especially if you are up on a slope and you get in trouble.
