Weird sound coming from belt.

Hey guys, I just changed my belt on my 2010 mxz x and I noticed that in the 4,000 to 6,000 rpm range there was a loud ringing sound coming from where the belt is. I was wondering if anyone knows what this is and will it f*ck up my sled? Thanks- Paul

The TRA needs regular maintainance, usually every 1500-ish miles. It's likely just getting sloppy. Button/oring wear will make them noisy. A "Maintenance kit" from Doo is the best value and has all the wear parts, goes for $120 retail.
