Wanted to see what the weight of my sled is bone stock full of fuel . It’s a na 165 slash full load . E start , 7s gauge and velocity shocks , 165 2.75 track . Came in at 545 lbs .
Then I swapped can out for a ggb trail can , anti gravity battery and I fabbed up a battery box out of some aluminum I had laying around . Added a spare belt and plugs and she came in at 525 lbs. it will be quite the change from riding my viper 95 lb difference lol

Does your sled have carbon fiber overstructure?
Mine dont, but im sure i herd that sc models got carbon fiber.

My 155 Khaos slash doesn’t. Maybe the rmk pros do. Not a big loss. Had to replace it on my last sled due to cracking. Would rather have aluminum tbh

All K's appear to be shipping with lightweight shock springs. This is good. Can take or leave the carbon overstructure, mostly leave. Not much more useful than the carbon bumper tube, that was pure marketecture, and a real world miss. After breaking the first one on the 11, it was always the first thing to ditch.

Which antigravity battery did you go with?

Which antigravity battery did you go with?
That one is older a older anti gravity out of my viper ytx12-16 . It’s exact same dimensions as the stock Yuasa . I ordered a anti gravity atx-12-hd for this sled same dimensions and same 480 cca

Anybody seen Dan Adam’s’ recent video where a stock Slash, fully wet with a can weighs in at 495? Why the big difference, I wonder?

e-start and a can is 50lb difference? The weight @jrusher posted is right where I'd expect; Dan's weight seems a little too good to be true. Running an ear-bleed can would partly explain that though... Anyway, 545 on a topped-off 165 with e-start is pretty good; should put a basic 155 below 500 lbs RTR, before any weight savings. Too bad they won't let you build an AXYS with the Slash tunnel; would give you the lightest basic weight, and eliminate the 10-20 lbs of slush the older-style coolers create.

And it would be a much better looking sled.
