What has everyone been seeing as far as clutching goes? I was hitting 8150-8200 with stock chain case 19-50 gears 2.63 ratio Tom suggested I try the next higher ratio 20-50 ish 2.52 ratio.

Sled is a 2013 162"
When I went from the 21-49 Gears 2.33 ratio to the 19-50 2.63 ratio (stock chain case) I had to drop 5 Grams on my weights so I'm expecting to need to add some weight back in now??

I cant wait to try out this new belt drive it looks great on my sled!!!!

How important is the alignment between the top and bottom gear with the belt drive. My top gear is about 1 inch away from the inside part of the case and the bottom gear is about a 1/2inch away. I assume this is normal with the kit, the gears only go on one way. This is on a 14. Also I noticed on some of the pictures the top gear has the small silver bolts facing the outside and some are on the inside. Mine are on the inside. Does this just depend on the gear ratios?
Kit is top notch, can't wait to try it. BTW, those that took the top bearing out in 5 mintues are lucky. I battled mine for over an hour, PITA.

I put a straight edge across my bottom gear to the top gear was very close even though it looked like you describe.

You cant judge off the chain case it has a taper in it. The gears that you see with the small bolts are for the 15 and 16, we have to hold the top gear on differently.

We are still working on the issue. I have sent covers out for guys to try and see if its a bad sensor. Problem is you don't hear back and don't get the old cover back to see what the problem is. We have tested some of the sensors and they test fine. They may not work on one machine but they do on another. I am willing to send another cover for a guy to test, but I expect to get the old one back, or we will charge the customer.

Speedo works great on mine. Had the belt drive on all season, no issues.

Bumping topic for a question.

The instructions do not inducate what length bolt to use to install the top cog when installing on a 15 (other than m8 or 5/16).

What length bolt is required?

8mm x 1.25 bolt is used. Hole should be drilled 1 inch deep.

Man is that shaft hard. Have got threads about 3/4" deep, but seemed to find a hard spot that my tap just would not run.

I got a M8x1.25 - 20mm long bolt to seat. Seems like enough threads.

Sweet product. Think drilling/ tapping the shafts is more of a project that the system install

Anyone knows what's needed to swap the belt drive from a '13 to a '16? Just picked up a '16 and want to swap it from my old sled
