Somehow while trying to remove this bolt, it stripped internally. Bolt just spins. I need this chain guide off so I can put it on my new kit. Any ideas how to remove it? Anyone ever have this problem??

Somehow while trying to remove this bolt, it stripped internally. Bolt just spins. I need this chain guide off so I can put it on my new kit. Any ideas how to remove it? Anyone ever have this problem??

It's a star nut inside the frame tube. You could take the plug out of the other side of the frame and beat it out with a hammer and punch.

Oh good idea. Then the question is how can I get another one.

Depending on how bad it's beat up when it comes out, you can bend the wings back and then just push it into the new frame. Or any bicycle store should have some on hand if you need a new one.
Mcmaster carr sells them.

Haha wish I knew that. Found the star nut on timbersled website and its freaking $24. I got 2. They sent them in a gigantic box. Total rip off. A bicycle star nut is stronger and they cost next to nothing. Got it sorted out though!
