Squeaky Brakes

Hey,

I've got an 08 Sierra and after a long day of off roading and steep hills my brakes are squeaking like crazy!

Any tips on what it might be? Truck only has 20,000kms on it....

dust most likely, inspect them and make sure you are not worn down to the wear limit indicators, also when your pads are new they have a chamfer to the front and rear edges of the pads, after they wear a while the chamfer is gone and that will cause the squeak, to get rid of it pull the pads out and with a sanding disc put a new chamfer on the edges

rocks in the brakes, drum brakes was never an issue, discs suck in mt. were half of its life the trucks on gravel roads
