Ski-doo 800 etec Top End Rebuild

I was wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks for doing one of these. I am hoping to not have to pull the engine but if i have to so be it. I'm picking up a summit t3 174 for 3000 that needs a top end after 980 miles ???

My cousin just did his 2015 and pulled the engine. Don’t know if he had to but that’s how he did it
