Secondary clutch rollers

Are the rollers still an issue or has ski doo started using better ones? Last week my kid broke his on his 21 boondocker. I haven't heard of anyone else having problems the last couple of years.

they're still breaking judging from posts across the forums. i change mine to aftermarket ones before the sled hits the snow. it's a straightforward job but the pins that go thru the bolts can be a pain to remove.

I also change mine to aftermarket soon as I get the sled and clutch kit goes in. 75$ and I never have to think about it again. I’ve seen them cracked with 300km on them

Does anyone know what rollers are in the 2023 turbo summits? They don't show a replacement on the ski doo parts breakdown, also different part numbers on the clutch. Just not sure if the high torque rollers would work or not. Thanks

Have hi torque ones in my ‘23 Freeride.

They are the same rollers in all the sleds, NA and turbos. Same cheap roller since 2008. They said in the '23 release they were going to a better roller but that never happened... HiTorq, Rhino, or DooDoctor are all good and you won't have to worry about them ever again

HT rollers in my sled and my riding group. In the late 2000's i used em in testing a 300hp turbo, drag setup over a week. Dint so much as put a dent in em'. Hmm, i should become a dealer.

I was talking with an American guy at the cabin today he was saying he split a roller with under 300miles. Makes me feel better spending the 75$ when Joeys kit goes in
