RMK 900 Engine Code

Need some help fella's. Out in Golden here and my engine light is flashing. 5 flashes and keeps cycling. Any idea? Seems to happen more when i hit the fluffy stuff. Started heating up on the way down the trail. Still seems to run good... one buddy said 5 flashes means warranty is up..lol... F*&k'n Cat rider's!

5 flashes = exhaust temp sensor out of voltage. also check to make sure the sensor wire is not rubbing on your hood. lots of guys had this happen. can trim away some plastic to prevent it. do you use scratchers to keep temps down?
