Rebuilding options for 12 pro RMK 800

I have a 2012 pro 800 with just over 1000 miles and I'm planning on rebuilding it after one more trip. I've done some reading on the fix it kits and get mixes reviews if its the route I really want to go. But I'm interested in these long rod bottom ends. It would be great if anyone could give me some options on what I can do. Can I do any of the long rod myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you are thinking of doing a long rod just send the engine to Indy Dan !

Indy Dan also sells just top end with 3 year warranty. Have to send him your cylinder. You can check it out on him eBay store under Indy specialty's. Price is also less if you do it in summer months. I have a 2011. Think I am gonna go with rktek direct replacement pistons or maybe mtntek fix kit. Have to make sure cylinder skirts look good. I you go with Indy Dan he takes care of that issue with thin skirts.
