Quick drive guard

New Force Turbo quick drive guard. Pretty cheap price wise and will give me peace of mind that debris will be kept out of my quick drive.

Neat idea but what happens if something falls in there and is now trapped? It's not sealed. Is this better or worse? Would love some real life experiences. Having lost a belt to a small piece of wood last year I am genuinely curious.

I think the odds are pretty low of something falling from the top. I will let you know if I have an issue. Force turbo guys tested this product all last season they said with great results.

My concern would be ice build up and not being able to see it.

I concur on the ice build up concern. I get water down there all the time that freezes overnight. I have to chip it out in the morning before I ride or the belt would be toast.

I considered drilling a drain hole below the belt but haven't done it yet.

If youve done something to damage a gaurd behind ur panel you undoubtedly have wrecked a few other things too in the process too. For where it is it shouldnt get damaged

Do you thaw your sled out at night? My question would be about ice build up under the lower pully if snow does get in there.

Had mine on for couple months now no issues with ice buildup at all, I did put 3/16 hole in bottom to drain water before it freezes also I sealed belly pan to bulkhead seam with a little silly where there was a gap. I to wrecked a belt from a smalll stick, won’t get in there now. The 3D print is lightweight and I thought it might be fragile as well but so far so good, Bryce at Force Turbo is a straight up dude and they definitely use there own stuff, the part is cheap like $30 bucks.
