PSA: Looks like I've been disconnecting from my tether the wrong way this whole time!

our group puts a caribiner on our jacket and a caribiner on the tether so there is a larger attachment point on our jacket that you can feel better with gloves on.

I'll have to give this a try...I keep my carabiner on my suit and attach the tech loop to the 'biner.... It's less of a tactic and more that my CKX has a D-ring that has some stupid plastic protrusions on the inside that make it a biotch to attach the 'biner. It's not much easier to attach the tether cord to the 'biner blind, with gloves on...but the 'biner to 'biner connection might be way easier.

All of my and my buddies sleds use dura-pro tethers. We leave tether attached to monosuit or jacket via a locking s-biner. The magnet attaches to the s-biner so it doesn’t dangle as much.
We can all swap sleds as needed.

Not worried about wearing out the tether.
I’ll deal with that if/when the time comes.
