Started a new project today. taking a 2003 600 rev and transplanting a 2001 800 mountain cat motor. so far so good. If any body has any advice or ideas I will look into them.

HAVE FUN MAN!!! WE BUILT ONE OF THOSE LASTYEAR. IT WAS TIME CONSUMING BUT THE SLED IS AWESOME ON THE MOUNTAIN.

yea this is my sled what did u guys do for a motor plate im trying to stay with the stock motor plate and i think im going to have a pipe made for it by jaws..

WE USED THE STOCK PLATE BUT HAD TO HAVE A WEDGE PLATE BUILT TO TILT THE ENGINE FORWARD SO THE CARBS WOULD FIT. WE GOT PIPES FROM JAWS AS WELL. OURS HAS A CUTLER 1000 BIG BORE ON WITH BORED CARBS. ITS AN ANIMAL ON THE MOUNTAIN!!! IF IT ISNT A TURBO IT WONT COME CLOSE!

Th 01 800 motor originally came with the 30mm PTO end on the crankshaft and was later updated to the 33mm end. If your motor hasn't had this upgrade would be good to do it now.

so ive been looin and lookin and lookin at the motor plate and was thinking of ways to make the motor fit remind im puting a 01 800 cat motor in a skidoo rev if anybody has pics thay can put on of the motor plate that would be nice.
