At first I turned the track by hand after the install and it was making a racket, I thought something was hitting in the tunnel but I couldn't find anything. I decided to fire it up and get it alligned and tension it. Once that was done I checked for anything rubbing and there were no signs after inspecting the paddles and the drivers looked good. I'll chalk my initial concern up to it just being a new stiff track. There was no noticable vibration in the powder or on the hardpack. The only difference was that on the hardpack I could actually hear the track pushing a ton of air, made a whooshing noise but no vibration. With the conditions that we had I tried to put the track to the test as best as I could. What I found was that in the powder with the track speed up the sled had more of a floating feeling than with the 2.3, and at slow speed it just tractors around like nothing else i've ridden, it didn't spin and trench just hooked up and pushed the sled forward. Really looking forward to putting this track to the test when the snow gets deeper. I also left the gearing where I had it, 19-49. With the 7t's I figure i'm somewhere around 2.70-2.80 to 1. For me, top speed on the trail or lake is of no concern, so this is a good combo for me.
