Sorry but for some reason I can not post a reply on the previous thread. I have one year left on my 4 year warranty (best) and have a cracked oil tank. So, I would like to leave my pump in and hooked up in case my sled goes down but I'd like to pull the tank out. Is there any reason I can't just use a bolt and clamp to cap the inlet hose and leave the pump hooked up as is. Then I can fill the hose to the top nipple for the water pump oiler and just take my tank out for now.

Just go back to the other thread and use the scroll bar at bottom to find the reply box after hitting post reply. Don't know why some threads end up to large to view on our screens.

Good Luck
