I think this was discussed before, but where can I get nylon washers to replace the rubber washers used on the bolts to hold in the weights on the primary for a cat.

Thanks again,

Don't use nylon

You want teflon washers for that application if you want to replace your o rings. Someone on here found a supplier someplace and was selling sets but I don't remember who it was.

Nylon washers may melt on a hot running clutch.

Or you can go to your friendly local Yamaha dealer and get some [delrin or durlin (sp)] washers that yamaha uses in their clutch. However these washers are installed on each side of the weight not on the outside like the cat o rings are.

Got em on my M1000 and no problems.

McMaster has a huge selection of parts.... might be able to find a good supply of 'em there if you know the ID/OD/thickness. Any material you want.

Or if you have a buddy with a lathe...
