Motor Mounts

I put ProRide mounts in my 18 Pro and I think they are better.
Same diamter as 18 but wider and a diffrent compound. But the rubber notches is deeper on the ProRide mounts.
It vibrates a lot more at idle with ProRide mounts

I also bought mounts from Stroker Customs and it was ProRide mounts I got from them.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they were pro ride mounts, they looked identical. The stroker mounts did close the gap that pro ride mounts didn’t but I suppose that could just be manufacturing tolerances.

Might be doing this next. I changed my motor mounts a few months back, I'm up to 1100 miles this season on my sled and they are shot again and my RPM at idle is crappy again. Just installed the SLP Torque arm and need replace the mounts again.

I just got the new 18’ mounts. Really don’t seem to fit much better than any of the others I’ve used. Still a little play in the motor with all 4 new mounts installed.

Checking the part numbers on the 2018 and 2017 and they are the same. So not surprised nobody is noticing a difference when they replace em.

My post from another thread. . . I will just be replacing all 4 with these ones

Looks like not all the parts fiches have been updated. The one I use for parts shows the 2017 has an updated MAG side rubber, but not a PTO side one. On the 2018 model it still shows the PTO number is the same as in 2017 - 5139042

Is there a consensus on what direction to go with motor mounts? Working on my summer 'to do' list. Thanks.

I have a thousand miles on the Pro Chassis motor mounts & the SLP Torque arm and have noticed a complete change in wear and tear vs the AXYS ones I was going through every ~1K miles. On the flip side though, you can most definitely feel more vibration from the sled.

I have a -15 ProRide RMK 800 with roughly 3700km on it. I have had both side Fire'n ice torque arm/stop on it almost since new. (I´m on my second belt on it in that time), and just lately I have noticed that the play in the motor mounts are becoming larger so now I think it is time to change them. I see that similar/same arms/stoppers are available for the Axys and they should work just as good on them I think.
(when I start thinking about it it might be that i put the Fire'n Ice arms on it at roughly the same time as I changed the belt @ 1000km or thereabout. So I have not had to change a belt since then!!:face-icon-small-hap )

Kylant -
The ones I posted back on the first page that has the microfiche picture. 3022409 these are the ones that hold up better
My mounts held up great since I replaced them with these back in February-
I cannot comment on the 3023290 mounts- I just know that the ones I put in of the 409's seem to work well and outlast the stock mounts from 16-18 Axys

Replacing drive shaft bearings now, and noticed in the tear-down that the mounts are holding up now.
