dang looks better than west yellowstone last week....minus the terrain that is. Just wondering is there any good terrain or even hills that i guy can play around on up there. I stay in Rockland and it seems to be fairly flat but i usually dont get a ton of time to explore around either. Will be up there this coming weekend and any hints where some hills are would be great if anyone is willing to leak out a location for me to explore.

Any updates?

I saw the rain beat up the snow pretty good last week. Any LES coming through? We want to get up there this weekend if there is any fresh stuff coming down.

i was in twin lakes/white pine last weekend. if you plan on doing any off trail i would cancel your trip. the rain ate about a foot of snow. there is about 6 inches on top of a rock solid 4 inch crust. trails were real rough around twin lakes, south of there the trails were okay. tons of sled traffic but no groomers in the twin lakes area. other areas the groomers are out, corners are beat up with some dirt showing. the forecast looks good, but personally i am not traveling to the U.P. till mid March.

Trails are really good between Hurley WI and Wakefield MI. I took the RMK Mod out today and the rain did do a number on the snow a week ago. Wednesday-Thursday we have a winter storm coming through the area. Supposed to get 12" total but we'll see what happens. Not to much traffic on the trails. Still have alot of untouched areas or if you get bored and the snow isn't good come watch us! http://www.evolutionsledpark.com/ www.exconfreeride.com and the copper peak hill climb 2/21/09 http://www.copperpeak.org/Hill Climb.htm

Is the hillclimb on for sure this weekend?

I don't think people will know for sure until Friday after the storm. A little snow fell last night (1-2" from midnight-noon) and looking at the local radar I don't think there is much more snow coming. If I had to put money on it I would say a no go for the hill climb. But then again i'm not 100% sure. I'll keep the thread updated.
