They are reporting 18 inches new snow this week in the Trailshead area. I noticed while I was up there 5 inches Monday, 3 inches Tuesday, 8 inches Wednesday before I left. Mountain Meadows at Deerfield is reporting 14 inches from the storm. The Blind Park snotel is showing 34 inches so the South areas should have good riding. I am done with my part time snowmobile patrol duties for this season and will go back to work part time summer duties in May. I now have all kinds of time for some spring riding. Brought home a new to me sled today to enjoy some epic spring riding.

thanks for all the reports over the years duane (snocop) always good reports and enjoyed chatting on trails when we were able. talked with some of your partners at latchstring inn awhile back and they dont seem to interested in any reporting on the snowest forum.

Conditions are the best I have seen for 3 years. Spent the day today on my new Pro RMK. Over the hood powder all day. Rode South of Trailshead between trail 1 and Boles canyon Rd and Boles canyon road and Crooks tower area. Found lots of untouched powder and roads that not been ridden all winter. Some of the wind loaded slopes had 3-4 feet of snow,

Thank you to you and Tom for meeting up with me for a great ride. I hope the ride was not too hard on Tom. Enjoyed the company even with dealing with your broken A-arm. Always up for a challenge.

The “easements” or permits private landowners sign that allow trails to go through private property are not valid after the 31st. So, if you can stay on FS land you should be good to go.

Seasons not done yet. Easter weekend ride. Spring conditions a little soft snow on top, a layer of crust and sugar underneath. Still 3-4 feet of snow.

My reply was for those who travel and spend lots of money to travel to get the snow and ride great trails. Thank you.. 2024 next.

Should have said seasons not done yet for us locals. Early and late season riding is more conducive to short 1 day trips done with no notice or advance planning.
