do you know how to tune your sled? jetting/clutching? if so you need to tune your EGTs to your sled. all your EGTs are is a gauge to watch to see if something goes wrong. Tune your carbs like normal but watch your temps. Once you reach a baseline while tuning carbs check your EGTs and see what you are running. keep an eye on piston wash and plug color. once you have established a baseline and half throttle, 3/4 throttle and full throttle you will have the numbers on your EGTs that you are looking for.
