Matryx geometry compared to axys?

So with the new release from Polaris. Geometry wise are they pretty similar? I heard the React front suspension is the same that’s good so we can reuse our aftermarket shocks. What about the rear skid? Does this new chassis have a drop and rolled driveshaft? Is the chassis lifted? I know really no one has had there hands on one just wondering from a geometry stand point if they are pretty similar. Thanks

wonder if aftermarket front bumpers will be able to transfer from axys to matryx. anyone know?

Not easily.

Check out the accessory catalog.

The matryx side panels lock into the bumper.

Maybe cutting those tabs off the stock bumper and attaching to your aftermarket one?

Probably not worth it.

Burandt stated that rear shocks from a 2021 won't work on rear skid for a 2022 matrix slash? but Polaris video says geometry similar?

Instagram or FB. What he meant, per the question that was asked, is that the RMK rear shocks are not the same as the Khaos.

Shock issue is related to carrier wheels being moved into the center of the upper arm from the outside so they will contact the clicker end resi or the evol chamber on the air shocks. The coils will work on the '22 rear arm.

As for the new sled ergos,

Rider input and overall balance feels virtually identical, quite a bit more cockpit room allowing you to ride in the neutral position even more then before. Also bringing more of the mass closer to the center the sled just whips around nice and easy. They have don an incredible job to continue to make the easiest mountain sled to ride even easier. But if your coming off an axys its going to take all of 10 minutes to be right at home. When demoing all the sleds the biggest challange was just shock and bar changes between sleds, otherwise is it was straight into some tight trees and blasting up creek bottoms on our ride.
