M8000 vs M7000 weights

In case anybody was wondering how the new '15 M7000 or Viper stacked up weight wise against an M8000 2 stroke, here's your answer...

If you don't wanna follow the link but just want the short answer, M8000 is 500lbs fresh out of the crate and the M7000 is 544lbs.

The M8k is a 162 vs a 153 on the M7k so another 5-6lbs would probably make them equal, call it 50lbs heavier...

When I weighed my 2014 M8 153 and our 2014 Viper I weighed them 22 or 25 pounds different I can't remember. I did not make them both have the exact same gas so my weights were a guess and not totally accurate. Glad to see somebody did a real accurate weigh.

Hopefully the 7000 Cat clutches weigh ten pounds more so the Viper is closer to Cat

Is the four stroke delivered with emty oiltank ?

They should be full of oil and coolant in the crate.
