Funny thing is that was the second cat with motor problems pulled out this year. Failed water pump took out one motor and the other dropped a piston skirt. Did cat start sticking Chinese parts in the great zuk engine like the rest of the chassis is full of?
Oh and the Nancy Doo boys that were with wouldn't hook up to either cause of their weak back bumper??? First I heard of that one. Lol
Here's my '15 M7000 with EVO Big Chute kit, 162x3" PowerClaw, Kmod with Raptors. Full of fluids including fuel, a full 3.3 gal. Mountain Addiction can, spare belt and AC tool kit, ready to ride. Sorry for the poor pics.
So many times we see the Arctic Cat mountain sleds demonized because of heavier weight than the Polaris Pro RMK. We also tend to agree that the Suzuki built 800 in the Arctic Cat is the preferred engine. That Suzuki built 800 engine is 18 pounds heavier than the Polaris 800. Add in the three pound heavier drive clutch which is weighted to properly balance the heavier crank in the Arctic Cat and 21 pounds of the difference in the two sleds is found in just the engines. Seven pounds more of the difference in the two sleds is in the exhaust silencers. Just swapping engines and exhaust would leave the Pro Climb lighter than a standard RMK by a fair amount, and maybe a bit lighter than a Pro RMK.
Just another polaris guy in a cat forum trying to justify his $hitty purchase. lol![]()
